Awesome technique, the final result looks finished while still having some sketchy feel to it May I ask how you did the shading? Was it just ball point pen or you included some more in Photoshop? The head design is great too, nothing goes unnoticed when having three pairs of eyes well done!
Thanks ^^ and as for the shading, it was mostly done with the ball point pen, but I also accentuated it in Photoshop. And the eyes was actually an idea I got from a small mistake (I did not know exactly were to place the eye, so I marked different places and decided to add an eye in each of them XD)
I'm a starter to watercolors myself, and it took me a while to learn how to not-despair when the water goes the wrong way I'm even trying some little exercises on doing 'mistakes' and then turn them into a small painting
I agree with samyu on this one.. it's got a really nice and solid body shape, and the head is great. I love the position, the color, the scale shape.. just a fantastic critter. You should consider adding a more detailed background at some point and you'd have a great print piece!
